Please find below the question, can this be achieved without custom codes. Is there any efficient approach for this requirement that users can follow to achieve the desired functionality.
- Change the Material-Supplier on the BOM but retain the colorway/color information defined for the original material.
- Designers will not know the final suppliers when initially creating the BOM, so they choose the ‘Standard’ supplier.
- Once the Sourcing team (or Agent) determines the Material-Supplier, Sourcing team updates the BOM with the correct Material-Supplier.
Color information defined should remain the same for the new Material-Supplier—color should be added to the BOM and to the Material-Supplier in the library.
