Restrict vendors access rights with sample measurements?

Hello,

Has anybody faced the case of restricting vendors access rights with regards to sample measurements?

The use case we have at Lacoste is to enable our suppliers to directly fill in the actual measurements of the samples they manufacture for us.

But when activating vendor portal for samples, and giving vendors editable rights to measurement object through the type manager, it results that a vendor can not only update the actual measurements but also the new measurement and associated check box which, if checked, can directly update the measurement of the specification! This is a major issue in terms of responsibility since only Lacoste development team should be responsible for defining the measurements in specification.
