Hi Fellow ProE+Windchill Users,
Am performing following actions in the Creo embeded browser:
- Connect to windchill server using tools>servermanager and activate a workspace
- in the embeded browser create a new Part using File>new
- While creating this part select Create CADDoc. In the next window select Creo as the authoring application and part or assembly as the category and the the default template name
- This new Part and the related CADDoc is created in the active workspace.
- Remove these objects from workspace, search for them and add them to workspace
- Now in the workspace open the CADDoc using the ProE symbol. After this it is expected that the part is opened in ProE but this doesnot happen and an error is displayed "The document 0000000050.asm or prt does not exist in the workspace"
On performing the same actions using the standalone browser like IE i.e. creating a Part in it along with the CADDoc, then searching for it in the embeded browser and attempting to open it in ProE am getting same error as above.
Please let me know if there are any settings which need to be done in order to perform editing of the CADDoc in ProE.
Creo Elements Pro-5.0 M080 and Windchill PDMLink 10.1-M030
Thanks,
Amol
