Check Boxes not selectable in Windchill
Has anyone experienced issues with selecting the check boxes while using Windchill?
We are seeing common yet sporadic reports where the Windchill user cannot place a Check mark in a box for objects list in a WorkSpace or in the Cabinets location. The workaround so far is to Refresh the page then the functionality usually works, but may return at any time. This occurs in the Embedded browser and with a standalone Internet Explorer 11 browser.
Shown is an example.
We are using Windchill 10.2 M030 and Creo 3.0 M050

Dedicating users to a Particular MS or Cluster Node
Dear All,
We need to assign one particular user ( which is used for importing data from other system) into a dedicated MS or to a dedicated Cluster node.
is their any way to configure this?
Also would like to know is their a way to block one particular user from using one dedicated cluster Node?

How to remove all OOTB content from Process Notification email triggered by Notification Robot

I want to plain email message body without any OOTB contents, as like shown in below image.
to achieve my requirement, which templates have to modify ? if i modified the templates, then all email notification will get affected who are using this template ?
or can we create a separate new template for this.

Making the Windchill URL public to access the same from Internet
Dear Members,
Greetings of the day!!
We have a task to public our Windchill URL to internet so that the remote users can also access the same when they are out of network.
Can someone help us out with the resolution.
Till now we have assigned one Static IP to the Windchill server but when we access Windchill through this the Apache asks for the credentials but after authentication the URL gets change to the Host name of the Windchill server ( e.g. http://host.mycompany.com:848/Windchill instead of 153.xx.xx.xxx/Windchill).
Please suggest the solution if anyone of you have faced the same issue earlier.

Consolidating Contexts - CN workflows
Hi All,
WC 10.2 M030 CSP 06
We are consolidating many contexts down to a few.
I think the straight forward way is to Move the Folder/Files, PR's, CR, CN's.
Anyone have an experience doing this?
I'm mostly concerned how active workflows for CN's will transfer to the new context. Does this occur without issue?

How to get any object team and there roles, groups and users from database script

I am trying to create a database script from which I can get the any business object team --> (group, Role ) --> users as of now I am able to get the Object team and roles but in Role I am not able to get users from the Roles can any one please help how I can find this

Query Builder Criteria Logic for getting last month
Hi,
It's that time of year again when 1-1=0.
I use the Get_Month - 1 calculation to capture the work items created last month.
Problem is in January the month = 1
For some reason 1 minus 1 does not equal 12...
Has anyone a better way to get a criteria for 'last month'?
This goes into a Cognos report, so I'm not able to use the 'last month' attributes when running the report with Report Builder

CAD Data visible in IE even if it is not uploaded or checked in "Status:Workspace Server Copy"
In Wildfire have connected to the Windchill server and opened an assembly from hard disk and performed save. I have not performed upload or checkin but this saved data is visible in IE/Mozilla.
On accessing the information page for these parts it shows "Status:Workspace Server Copy"I am aware of the client side and server side workspace in Wildfire-Windchill. This data should not be visible in IE unless it is uploaded or checked in that is when it moves to server side workspace or commonpsace. Please let me know how this data is visible in IE when it is just saved in connected session. Am I missing something

Need to map Alternate User Name in LDAP Integration?
Hi Guys,
Hope everyone had an amazing new year.
I am working on Corporate LDAP integration with Windchill. All is done and everything is working as expected. Now the client wants us to map Alternate User Name attribute in Users details page to one of the Corp LDAP attributes. And Alternate User Name is an OOTB Windchill attribute available for all the users.
Now I know we can map User's attributes thorough "additional properties section in JNDI adapter configuration". The problem is that the mapping exists for a most of the OOTB attributes (Email, Full name, last name etc..,). But there is no mapping available for Alternate User Name. I couldn't find it anywhere. Please let me know if you have any information for mapping this particular attribute.

In a Windchill search, is there a way to search for checked out modified CAD files in other users workspace?
I know you can search for files that are "checked out by", but I want to know if there is a way to see if those checked out files are actually modified in their workspace?
The below results show all the CAD files that are checked out by the particular user, just trying figure out those files are modified or not. Does anyone know how this can be done, if it can?

User actions log file?
I have 2 users that are frequently "losing" files. I'm 99.9% sure it's due to them deleting workspaces before checking in files or deleting the workspace contents. Are there any log files that I can reference to confirm what they are doing to lose this data?

Need Date in Task Table
Can anyone explain how to get a Change Activity Task's 'Need Date' to display in My Task table? Only Deadline is available. It's not a column option in the Customize Table menu. Need date is important for the assignee to prioritize work, and... know when the task is due as the field would indicate.
ProjectLink Plan Activities 'Estimated Date' appear, and that is great for the assignee to know when it's needed. Although I'd prefer to have similar nomenclature for need by date for all windchill Tasks, but I'll take it.
Or provide some feedback as to how you deal with it (workaround, or notifying assignee when work is needed), and or why it's not available so I can take some satisfaction in a rational.

Is there a way to Search Check in comments for CAD or Documents
Even in Advanced search I cannot find the check-in Comments field.
If we modified a objects for CAR-XXX then in the future we can search the check-in comments for all objects in the specific product / project or library for CAR-XXX. We would instantly in the future what objects were modified for CAR-XXX.
I was also thinking may be some type of report may be able to provide this info?
