If there are large number of CAD users with preferred content cache server set to master, will it affect windchill method server performance

We are facing performance issue in our foreground method servers in our cluster environment. Mostly we are getting this issue when we see large number of CAD transactions in our method server logs. We have large number of CAD users who are set to master for preferred content cache server. Could you please let me know whether this could impact the performance of method server.
